Who We Are
The Uwchlan Hills Home and School Association (UHHSA) is a parent volunteer group, like a PTA or PTO, which supports our school. Our goal is to enhance our children’s elementary school experience through activities, events, and assemblies. All Uwchlan Hills parents are automatically members of the UHHSA, and there are many opportunities to become involved throughout the year.
One of the roles of the Home and School Association is to bring families together for fun events. Such as: Ice Cream Social, Barnes and Noble night, Pizza Bingo, Ice Skating, Bowling night and the Student Variety show. We hope you will come to the events and have a good time. Each event has its own Committee Chair and team of volunteer parents, so we are always looking for parent volunteers to help run these events. It is a great way to get involved in school activities and to meet new people.
Another function of the Home and School is to raise money for Uwchlan Hills. Instead of doing traditional fundraising, such as cookie dough sales, we ask that each family donate $50.00. The money raised helps pay for a variety of things, including school assemblies, field trips, field day t-shirts, and classroom supplies. 100% of the money raised goes back into our school, benefiting all the students.
